Good Works

I know you don’t need my help in choosing a charity to support, but hey, I’ve got a website, so I figured, why not use a page to draw attention to some of the non-profit organizations doing incredible work around the world.

I support these organizations. If any of them look interesting to you, follow the links and check ‘em out your own fine self.

Doctors Without Borders

MEDECINS SANS FRONTIERES / DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS

MSF/Doctors Without Borders delivers medical treatment, vaccinations, and education to many of the world’s most disenfranchised people. An incredibly difficult job, and absolutely necessary.

World Bicycle Relief

WORLD BICYCLE RELIEF

If you follow me on Twitter (@SeanChercover) you already know I’m a devoted bicycle freak, and I think bikes can save the world. World Bicycle Relief is actually making that happen. To people without access to reliable transportation, a bike is much more than a bike. It is a path to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity. Click through and check it out – you’ll be amazed.

Open Books Chicago

OPEN BOOKS CHICAGO

Open Books is an innovative non-profit doing great work to bring the joy of reading and writing to tens of thousands of readers each year through reading enrichment and book grant programs in the Chicagoland area. I am thrilled to be launching the Devil’s Game at their new bookstore in the West Loop.
